Forum: GratefulDead Subject: Tito is retiring for good

Gentlemen (and stealz).....With spring upon us and baseball coming into full swing,i am officially announcing my retirement from posting on archive.org.....Im not like you guys, i really cant see how you can be "friends" with people you dont know, so the only reason i was posting was to stir shit up, piss people off(alot of times by telling the truth). Was i juvenile? absolutely. Im just quite frankly sick and tired of it, and i think i have all the GD i need. I may come back and listen to some streamed shows once in a while, but i am beginning to realize how pathetic my musical Genre has become by only listening to the Grateful Dead for the last 20 years. I just realized i have over 5000 songs on my Itunes player, and all except one have jerry garcia playing guitar on them(only other song i have is the greatest rock and roll song of all time "Sultans of Swing").....I know i was immensly disliked by many. I was an outcast, a pariah if you will(beat that mr wordsmith). But im just gonna ride off into the sunset and say goodbye to you guys.....no hard feelings, huh? We had a few good times, no?

I feel like Yaz on that fateful Sept. Day doing that final lap around The Fens, knowing i gave you guys my best but i just couldnt bring home the trophy

Touche' Gentlemen, Touche'

And yes..this is the real Tito, and no, i have never, not once, been a fraudulent poster

Thanks (?) for that reference...I'll take it as a compliment in memory of your departure, especially because it is true in fact and in practice (I like to think I listen good).

I'm not Jesus mon! I've been worse than you will ever be,(ask Jack Martin and CI)...but not here. Only 3/4th of my DL's are GD/JGB
Nonetheless, Love will get you thru to the other side, not judgement & anger. God bless you in this savage nation

You will post again all too soon. I won't be fooled again

Ah, I see the stratagem behind the madness...good one Ashes. Always deceive your primary enemy. Worry not--at least you didn't warrant a mention (a good thing).
